The death of Aeris
|
The death of Aeris hapens on the 1st disk (near the end). She tells Cloud that she is the only one that can save the planet from meteor and runs off. Cloud follows her to the city of the ancents and in to the big building. There aeris is praying. Then all of a sudden Sephiroth (who followed Aeris too) come down from the ceiling and jabs his long sword into the back of Aeris. She collapses to the ground, and her white materia falls into the lake below. Sephiroth leaves and cloud and the others fight Jenova Death. after the victory, Cloud rushes to Aeris aide, but its too late. She falls to death in his arms. Cloud and the others leave the building and set Aeris to the lake. She is now one with the planet. The others then find out that the materia that Aeris held (the white materia) was holy (white) magic, the equivalet to meteor.
